Locking your iPhone is fine. If you spend more than 10 seconds in another app, on the Home Screen or in Notification Center during a session, your plant withers. A session started from the Lock Screen or from Apple Watch is checked for leaving once you open Stillfern on your iPhone.
Open Stillfern, go to Settings and tap Restore purchase, or tap it on the Full Catalog screen. Use the same Apple Account you bought with. The Full Catalog is a one-time purchase tied to that Apple Account, so it carries over to a new iPhone or a reinstall.
During a session, Stillfern shows a Live Activity on your Lock Screen. If iOS asks whether to keep allowing Live Activities from Stillfern, tap Always Allow. You can turn them off in the Settings app under Stillfern.
The Apple Watch app works with Stillfern on your iPhone, so keep your iPhone nearby. You can start a session, see your plant grow and end a session from your wrist; your history stays on your iPhone.
